Client Relationship Manager

The Role

As an Indoor Client Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both our clients and our National Client Relationship Managers (CRMs). Working from a home-based environment, you will provide proactive account support, manage day-to-day client activity, and act as an essential link between customers, National CRMs on the road, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day client communications
  • Provide proactive account support to National CRMs while they are on the road, ensuring continuity of service
  • Support National CRMs with client queries, reporting, follow-ups, and issue resolution
  • Gain a strong understanding of each client’s needs and business objectives
  • Monitor customer activity and performance, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities
  • Analyse data to support account growth and continuous improvement
  • Resolve escalated issues efficiently and help prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client and business requirements
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of AGL’s products and services
  • Manage client expectations in a professional and proactive manner
  • Support clients via phone, email, online meetings, presentations, and screen sharing
  • Assist the Customer Experience team during peak periods or periods of absence

About You

  • Previous experience in a client relationship, account management, or customer service role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident building and maintaining relationships remotely
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills
  • Analytical, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working independently in a home-based role
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)

 

Experience within logistics, carrier management, or a service-led industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
